Your privacy is important to us. At The Minted Project, we have a few fundamental principles:

2. We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, The Minted Project collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The Minted Project’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how The Minted Project’s visitors use its website. From time to time, The Minted Project may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. The Minted Project also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users. IP addresses are used to help diagnose problems with our servers and to administer our website.  The Minted Project only discloses IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on  a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. The Minted Project uses cookies to help The Minted Project identify and track visitors, their usage of The Minted Project’s website, and their website access preferences. Comments

Comments and other content submitted to our website are not saved on our servers unless they were marked as false positives, in which case we store them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives. If The Minted Project, or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that The Minted Project goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that are transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that any acquirer of The Minted Project may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

 

Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) Compliance

“Personal Data” is defined under PDPA to mean data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which an organisation has or is likely to have access. Common examples of personal data could include names, identification numbers, contact information, medical records, photographs and video images.

 

We will collect your personal data in accordance with the PDPA. We will notify you of the purposes for which your personal data may be collected, used, disclosed and/or processed, as well as obtain your consent for the collection, use, disclosure and/or processing of your personal data for the intended purposes, unless an exception under the law permits us to collect and process your personal data without your consent.

 

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Compliance

If you are a resident of or are located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), you may also have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).  Personal data you provide on any of The Minted Project’s websites is only collected with your consent and may be transmitted outside of the EEA to The Minted Project (or computer servers maintained for the benefit of The Minted Project) pursuant to that consent. Note that, if you are in the EEA, we may transfer your personal data outside of the EEA, including to the United States.  By way of example, this may happen if your personal data is transferred to The Minted Project servers located in a country outside of the EEA.
